Cubed raw tuna tossed in soy-sesame dressing over rice with avocado, cucumber and nori — Hawaii's casual classic at home.

Ingredients
- Rice2 cups cooked
- Spring Onions2, sliced
- Soy Sauce3 tbsp
- Sesame Oil1 tbsp
- Avocado1, sliced
- Cucumber1/2, sliced
- Tuna300 g sushi-grade
- Rice Vinegar1 tsp
Optional extras
- Lime1/2
- Nori Seaweed1 sheet, crumbled
- Sesame Seeds1 tsp

Cook rice and let cool slightly.

Cube sushi-grade tuna; toss with soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar and spring onions.

Build bowls: rice base, poke on top.

Add avocado, cucumber, and crumbled nori.

Finish with sesame seeds and a squeeze of lime.
Chef's tip
Only use sushi-grade tuna from a trusted fishmonger — poke is served raw.
