
Faridabad Special Gosht Korma
A non-vegetarian Indian dish in the spirit of Faridabad cooking — Faridabad Special Gosht Korma brings a bhuna touch with a classic korma finish. About 75 minutes from fridge to table.
Ingredients
- Onion1, finely chopped
- Vegetable Oil2 tbsp
- Mutton500 g, on the bone
- Red Chili Powder1 tsp
Optional extras
- Ghee1 tbsp
- Fresh Cilantro2 tbsp, chopped
- Curry Leaves1 sprig
- Lemon1/2
Instructions

Heat oil or ghee in a heavy kadhai over medium heat.

Add cumin or mustard seeds and let them crackle.

Saute onion until golden, then stir in ginger-garlic paste.

Add tomatoes and powdered spices; cook until oil separates.

Add the main ingredient with a splash of water; cover and simmer.

Uncover, adjust salt and spice, and cook to the desired consistency.

Finish with garam masala and fresh cilantro.

Rest a minute, then serve hot.

Keep the flame medium — rushing browns the base too fast.
