
Broccoli Solkadhi Yakhni
A vegetarian Indian dish in the spirit of Digboi cooking — Broccoli Solkadhi Yakhni brings a solkadhi touch with a classic yakhni finish. About 41 minutes from fridge to table.
Ingredients
- Ginger Garlic Paste1 tbsp
- Garam Masala1/2 tsp

- Turmeric Powder1/2 tsp
- Broccoli250 g, chopped

Instructions

Heat oil or ghee in a heavy kadhai over medium heat.

Add cumin or mustard seeds and let them crackle.

Saute onion until golden, then stir in ginger-garlic paste.

Add tomatoes and powdered spices; cook until oil separates.

Add the main ingredient with a splash of water; cover and simmer.

Uncover, adjust salt and spice, and cook to the desired consistency.

Finish with garam masala and fresh cilantro.
