
Nani's Feast Murgh
A non-vegetarian Indian dish in the spirit of Ballari cooking — Nani's Feast Murgh brings a nani's touch with a classic thick gravy finish. About 45 minutes from fridge to table.
Ingredients
- Chicken500 g, curry cut
- Ginger Garlic Paste1 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds1 tsp
- Coriander Powder1 tsp
- Vegetable Oil2 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder1 tsp
Optional extras
- Fresh Cilantro2 tbsp, chopped
- Lemon1/2
Instructions

Heat oil or ghee in a heavy kadhai over medium heat.

Add cumin or mustard seeds and let them crackle.

Saute onion until golden, then stir in ginger-garlic paste.

Add tomatoes and powdered spices; cook until oil separates.

Add the main ingredient with a splash of water; cover and simmer.

Uncover, adjust salt and spice, and cook to the desired consistency.

Finish with garam masala and fresh cilantro.

Rest a minute, then serve hot.

Keep the flame medium — rushing browns the base too fast.
