
Curd-Based Feast Sabudana
A vegetarian Indian dish in the spirit of Khanna cooking — Curd-Based Feast Sabudana brings a curd-based touch with a classic biryani finish. About 43 minutes from fridge to table.
Ingredients
- Ginger Garlic Paste1 tbsp

- Onion1, finely chopped
- Tomato2, chopped
- Cumin Seeds1 tsp
- Sago (Sabudana)1 cup, soaked

- Curry Leaves1 sprig
Instructions

Heat oil or ghee in a heavy kadhai over medium heat.

Add cumin or mustard seeds and let them crackle.

Saute onion until golden, then stir in ginger-garlic paste.

Add tomatoes and powdered spices; cook until oil separates.

Add the main ingredient with a splash of water; cover and simmer.

Uncover, adjust salt and spice, and cook to the desired consistency.

Finish with garam masala and fresh cilantro.

Rest a minute, then serve hot.
