
Black Beans Stir-Fry
High heat, big flavour: black beans seared with aromatics and a shiny sauce that clings to every bite. About 30 minutes from fridge to table.
Ingredients
- Butter2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Garlic4 cloves, minced
- Bell Pepper1, sliced
- Spring Onions3, cut into batons
- Soy Sauce2 tbsp
- Broccoli200 g
- Black Beans2 cans
- Ketchup2 tbsp
- Smoked Paprika1 tsp
Optional extras
- Fresh Parsleyhandful, to finish
Instructions

Heat the oil in a heavy skillet and cook Garlic until it softens and turns golden at the edges.

Add the Black Beans and brown it well, breaking or turning as suits the dish.

Stir in Smoked Paprika and the seasonings and let them toast briefly in the fat.

Add the liquid component, scrape the pan, and simmer until the Black Beans is cooked through and glossy.
