Ingredients

  • Saltto taste
  • Ghee3 tbsp
  • Rice2 cups
  • Yellow Lentils (Toor Dal)1/2 cup
  • Black Pepper1 tsp

Instructions

    Prepare the batter or base with the rice and seasonings.

    Cook the rice and dal together until soft and porridge-like; fold through a ghee tempering of pepper, cumin, ginger and cashews.

    Serve hot with coconut chutney.
