Mascarpone Berry Parfait
Mascarpone-honey cream layered with berries, the five-minute elegant dessert. Silky and spoonable, with a clean, comforting sweetness. Lovely with a few berries or a thin biscuit on the side.
Ingredients
- Heavy Cream1/4 cup
- Honey2 tbsp
- Salta pinch
- Milk2 cups
- Sugar1/3 cup
- Vanilla Extract1 tsp
- Blueberries1 cup, chopped
- Mascarpone Cheese250 g
Instructions
- 1
Gather everything before you start — custards punish multitasking.
- 2
Scald the milk with the honey — small bubbles at the edge, never a rolling boil.
- 3
Whisk the mascarpone cheese with the sugar, then temper with a ladle of the hot milk, whisking hard.
- 4
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture coats the back of a spoon.
- 5
Pour into dishes, chill at least four hours, and serve cold with blueberries on top.
