Pillowy tandoor-style flatbreads brushed with garlic butter — soft, blistered, and made in a screaming-hot skillet.

Ingredients
- Yogurt1/4 cup
- Butter3 tbsp, melted
- Salt1 tsp
- Milk1/2 cup, warm
- All-Purpose Flour2.5 cups
- Sugar1 tsp
- Neutral Oil1 tbsp
- Active Dry Yeast2 tsp

- Garlic2 cloves, minced
Instructions

Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar.

Knead flour, yogurt, oil, salt and yeast mixture into a soft dough; rest 1–1.5 hours.

Divide, roll into ovals, and cook in a hot cast-iron skillet until bubbles form.

Flip and char the top under a broiler or by flipping onto the flame briefly.

Brush generously with melted garlic butter and serve.
Chef's tip
Dough should be soft and slightly sticky — stiff dough makes dense naan.
